(PBUH stands for “Peace Be Upon Him”. S.A.W.W stands for Sallala Ho Alaihay Wa Aaalihi Sallam).
To fully write up the life events of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) is not possible in the short context of this post. Similarly to fully explain the status and Calibre of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) that Allah Almighty has bestowed upon him is not possible in the short life of author. Because the author believes that his words are limited but the praise and esteem for the Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) is limitless.
Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W)
Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) is the last Prophet and messenger of Allah Almighty. He (S.A.W.W) put the humanity on the enlightened path. He (S.A.W.W) freed the human intelligence from ambiguity. Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) created a system among human beings that was totally based on equality and parity.
Family Background and the Holy Birth of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W)
Quraish was the ruling tribe in Arabia. Among this tribe the noblest dynasty was of the “Hashmi’s”. A pious individual among Hashmi’s was named Hazrat Abdul Mutlib. He had ten sons. The youngest son was named Hazrat Abdullah (R.A). He was married to Hazrat Amina (R.A). Hazrat Abdullah (R.A) died few month after the marriage. A son was born to Hazrat Amina (R.A) in April 571 A.D. at Makkah. He was named Hazrat Muhammad (Sallala Ho Alaihay Wa Sallam).
Early Age and Childhood:
Mother of the Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) died when he was only six years old. Grandfather of Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) also died one year later. The responsibilty of nurturing and growing up was taken by his uncle Hazrat Abu Talib. Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) had all the virtues of Morality, truthfullness and piety right from his childhood.
Prophet-hood of the Holy Prophet (PBUH):
Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) was hatred of Idol worshipping. He used to go to the Cave of Hira to bow before only Allah Almighty. He was bestowed with prophethood at the age of forty. He (PBUH) started the Holy preaching from that very day. Quraish overtly opposed and gave hardships. The people who accepted your invitation towards Islam also faced severe hardships.
Life struggle and Ultimate Success:
Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) continued preaching during the difficult time of long 13 years. Finally the Holy Prophet (PBUH) migrated to Madina. After that many battles were fought between Muslims (followers of Islam and Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W)) and the people of Makkah. Famous battles include Badr, Ohad, Ahzab and others. Then, the Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) along with his ten thousand followers conquered Makkah without bloodshed. At that moment, he forgave all the creulities that the people of Makkah had conferred upon him. This act impressed the non-believer to the extent that they accepted Islam.
On tenth year of Hijri, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) performed the last Hajj. He delivered a speech on that occasion. This speech is the crux of the teachings of Islam. He (PBUH) emphasized on brotherhood and equality among the human beings. Piety was declared the only standard of nobleness. He (PBUH) declared the rights of women and slaves equal to that of men and the lords. He also preached for God fearing, Namaz, Fasting, Zakat in such a manner that people started believing thatHazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) is now about to leave this temporal world.
He (PBUH) fell ill two month ater the Last Hajj and suffered from fever for 13 days. On 27th May 632, at the age of sixty three,Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W.W) after completing the noblest task left this world.
These are the life events of that Noble personality whose every moment of life is a enlightened path to follow. And by following this path, individual ruled over vast areas of the world and set examples. Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) without any doubt is the greatest and most influential personality that this world has and will ever see.
